Occupational Therapist – Melbourne

Part-Time/Casual

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated person to join our growing healthcare team.

Employment: Part-time (3–4 days per week)
Reports To: Clinical Lead
Location: Remote: South and Southeastern suburbs of Melbourne

Role Purpose

To provide high-quality occupational therapy services that support clients to improve functional independence, safety, and wellbeing across community, aged care, and NDIS environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional, cognitive, ADL and home safety assessments.
  • Provide goal-directed therapy and rehabilitation programs.
  • Complete home modification assessments and prepare supporting documentation for minor and complex modifications.
  • Prescribe assistive technology and produce detailed AT reports.
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation compliant with AHPRA, Privacy Act, and relevant funding bodies.
  • Collaborate with families, support coordinators, case managers, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Deliver culturally responsive, person-centered practice—particularly supporting Mandarin-speaking clients.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Bachelor/Master of Occupational Therapy.
  • Have NDIS and Support at home experience.
  • Current AHPRA Registration.
  • Home modification experience (minor and/or complex).
  • Fluent in Mandarin (spoken).
  • Current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle.
  • National Police Check and WWCC.
  • NDIS Worker Screening (if applicable).
  • Up-to-date immunisations per state requirements.
