Physiotherapist – Melbourne

Part-time/Casual

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated person to join our growing healthcare team.

Employment: Part-time (3–4 days per week)
Reports To: Clinical Lead
Location: South & South-Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne + Remote/Hybrid

Role Purpose

To deliver high-quality physiotherapy services that support mobility, strength, safety, and functional independence. The role includes community clients, NDIS participants,
pediatrics, adults, and older adults within Aged Care settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments (mobility, strength, balance, gait, pain, functional capacity, falls risk).
  • Deliver rehabilitation programs, strengthening, mobility training, balance/falls prevention, and functional retraining.
  • Provide therapy and support for older adults, including chronic disease management, reablement, and mobility aid recommendations.
  • Develop and implement individualised exercise programs across home, community, and aged care environments.
  • Complete clinical documentation and reports aligned with AHPRA, NDIS, Aged Care Standards, and TeamiCare procedures.
  • Collaborate with families, carers, support coordinators, GPs, aged care staff, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Provide culturally responsive, client-centered care.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Bachelor/Master of Physiotherapy.Current AHPRA Registration (Physiotherapy Board of Australia).
  • Experience working in Aged Care settings (residential or community aged care).
  • National Police Check + Working with Children Check.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (if applicable).
  • Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle for community visits.
  • Current immunisation compliance as required by Victorian health guidelines.

Desirable

  • Experience in community rehab, disability, neurological, musculoskeletal, or pediatrics.
  • Knowledge of mobility aids, equipment prescription, and functional reablement programs.
  • Experience working within Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Telehealth experience.
